Clinic Cid Pitombo

Graduated in Medicine and specialized in Surgery, Pitombo went to the United States to specialize in laparoscopic surgery. He returned to Brazil five years later to learn about obesity surgeries and, at the end of his master’s and doctorate, he worked in large bariatric surgery centers in the USA. He soon realized that knowledge of laparoscopy and obesity was an area to be explored. He joined the great names of bariatric surgery, experimented with different techniques, operated and taught in several countries and became a reference in Brazil and abroad in bariatric surgery by laparoscopy, a technique he uses in all the units in which he operates. The procedure is less invasive and provides faster patient recovery.
