O fenótipo obeso induzido por dieta rica em gordura leva a restrição materno-fetal, ineficiência placentária e restrição de crescimento em camundongos e a resistência materna à obesidade protege parcialmente a prole de distúrbios metabólicos precoces (Sanches et al, 2021; Simino et al, 2021).
