Obesity and Comorbidities Research Center selects Post-doctoral fellow

The Obesity and Comorbidities Research Center is selecting a Post-doctoral Fellow to work in a project aimed at characterizing a newly identified target for the treatment of obesity. Project supervisor is Licio A. Velloso

The candidate must have expertise in the following methods:

• Cell culture
• Experimental animal handling
• Real-time PCR
• Immunoblot
• Histology of the central nervous system, particularly immunofluorescence labelling of neurons
• Molecular biology techniques for gene manipulation and transcription factor activity screening

The selected candidate will receive a scholarship from the Sao Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and will be granted a University of Campinas Post-doctoral fellowship certificate.
